POWERBALL is a government sponsored lottery controlled by the Multi-State Lottery Association. Lotto-Taxi is not affiliated with any of the government sponsored lotteries. We provide accurate and confidential lottery entry service. We guarantee your complete satisfaction with our service. All Lottery tickets are purchased from a state appointed official retailer for you in your name with your chosen game numbers. You own the tickets.

How much does it cost?

The price per play is calculated by adding the cost of the ticket and our fee. The tickets cost US $1.00, and our “regular” fee is another US $1.00 (currently for sale at US $0.80). If you wish to multiply your potential winnings by taking advantage of the "Power Play" option, you can do so for as little as US $1.50 again, $1.00 for the ticket and $0.50 our fee. We sometimes have promotions and you will be informed of them before buying your tickets.

Opening an account

All ticket purchasers must be at least 18 years old and must observe the laws of their state and/or country regarding public, government supervised lotteries. To open an account click on “Account Login” and follow the link “Set Up Your Account Now” link on the login page. Fill out the information requested in the form (including name and password) and you will be ready to start. If you have any questions regarding the legality of play from your location, we suggest that you contact the legal governing authorities in your Country or Area to answer your inquiry.

Ordering

Placing orders with us is really simple. After you select your numbers, the web page will ask you login. Give us your payment info and we will do the rest for you. That is:

   • How many draws
   • Your numbers
   • Whether or not you would like to add the Power Play
2. Login in the system
3. Confirm your order
4. Pay for your tickets
5. We will complete the order on your behalf

About the numbers

For each Powerball ticket, you must pick 5 numbers from 1 to 59, along with a Powerball number from 1 to 39. You may do this for each ticket by choosing numbers by hand; or you may choose our courtesy "Quick Pick" option, which will fill your choices randomly. You can clear and start over as much as you need to do so. With us you always use your numbers, and you can even select the Power Play option. Power Play is a special feature that allows a winner to multiply the original prize amount. Powerball players can multiply their Powerball prizes by 2,3,4 or 5 times (this does not include the jackpot). A player must choose the Power Play option when they order their Powerball ticket, and then the ticket must match one of the non-jackpot prizes before the multiplier takes effect.

After you order

Upon accepting your order we will send you an e-mail "Notification of Purchase", which shows per each ticket you bought (1) your selected numbers, (2) first eligible drawing date, (3) the number of draws you decide to run the ticket, and (4) whether or not you opted to play the Powerball option. Your Powerball ticket will be purchased through a state lottery computer system in the lottery jurisdictions that sell the Powerball game. Lotto-Taxi will then save the ticket for you, and send you an email digitally signed (legal binding document) on which you will find your transactions. From your account, you can re-generate a current version of this document any time you choose to do so.

How to Win

Powerball is a lotto game which is a combined large jackpot game and a cash game. Every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time, we draw five white balls out of a drum with {5} balls and one red ball out of a drum with {6} red balls. Players win by matching one of the 9 Ways to Win. The following table shows all 9 ways to win:

The jackpot (won by matching all five white balls in any order and the red PowerBall) is either an annuitized prize paid out over 29 years (30 payments) or a lump sum payment. If the winner chooses the annuity, the annual payment will be increased each year by the percentage set out in the Powerball game rules.

For a jackpot win you have up to 60 days until after you claim the prize to decide whether you want cash or the annuity option. The overall odds of winning a prize in the game are better than 1 in 37.

How to Claim Your Prize

For any earnings up to US $600.00, we will cash it for you and deposit in your account with us. This increases your balance in your account, and it is money that you can transfer any time. For prizes bigger than US $600.00 you have one of the two following options. You can (1) come to our offices, after appropriately identifying you; we will give you your ticket, so that you can redeem it. Or (2) you can legally authorize someone to do so for you. There are two important deadlines you should know, 180 days to cash any ticket, and 60 days to claim the cash option for a jackpot prize. For any earnings up to US $600.00, we will cash it for you and deposit in your account with us. This increases your balance in your account, and it is money that you can transfer any time (customer is responsable for any bank fee). For prizes bigger than US $600.00 you have one of the two following options:

1. You can come to our offices. After appropriately authenticating you, we will give you your ticket, so that you can redeem it.
2. You can legally authorize someone to do so for you.

There are two important deadlines you should know about. You have 180 days to cash any ticket, but only 60 days to claim the cash option for a jackpot prize.

Security and Safety considerations

Your username and password are used to identify you to our system. You acknowledge that anyone who knows both your Username and Password can gain access to your personal information and misuse it (and incur charges which you may be responsible for), so all members are advised to keep their passwords secret. If you have reason to believe that your account is no longer secure (for example, in the event of a loss, theft or unauthorized disclosure or use of your username and password), you understand and agree that you must promptly change your password and notify Lotto-Taxi of the problem to avoid possible liability for any unauthorized charges to your account. If you are a registered member you can submit the online ticket slip with your password and username for fast, secure and easy access.
